John and Henry have been deluged with complaints about missed collections by Bristol Waste.
Henry comments: " Bristol's waste service operated reasonably well until Q3 2023, when our previous Mayor imposed budget changes on Bristol Waste forcing them to review their operations. This was against a backcloth of rising costs and inevitably proved a recipe for disaster'
John adds: "The re-routing has proved to be very problematic, causing much confusion to workers and residents. Staff morale has sunk and missed collections have soared. There have been recent management changes with the promise of a much improved service. We shall see! In the interim please report missed collections on the Council's website or to Henry and myself."
