Some good news to report.
The Council’s Public Rights of Way Committee voted on Wednesday 28th June by six votes to one (with 2 abstentions) in favour of registration of Stoke Lodge Playing Fields as a town/village green. Congratulations to ‘We Love Stoke Lodge’ campaigners and local residents, who have worked so hard over many, many years to ensure this result, which will ensure this precious community green space remains accessible to the public in perpetuity.
Cotham School can challenge the TVG registration via the courts. However, we really hope Cotham School will choose to work with the community rather than pursue further costly legal action. John and Henry will keep local residents informed as and when an update is available.
