Working to preserve our environment

We are lucky that our local community has two conservation areas in Sneyd Park and Sea Mills. Protecting our environment is one of my top priorities to ensure that local residents can continue to enjoy them, as well as future generations.

Since being elected I have:

  • Worked with the Sneyd Park Residents Association (SPRA) to stop the development of the proposed Downs Cafe, which would have a direct impact on the local environment on that section of the Downs.
  • Worked with local community groups in Sea Mills to stop controversial developments on our green spaces, as well as supporting climate engagement events.
  • Supporting the work of We Love Stoke Lodge to ensure that residents have fair access to Stoke Lodge, and supporting the TVG application.
